Lake Toba


Lake Toba is a volcanic lake with a length of 100 kilometers and 30 kilometers wide, is above the plateauapproximately 800 m above sea level which is a national asset ranked into 2 (two) as the world's largest lakeand the lake is the largest lake in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

The majority ethnic population in the vicinity of Lake Toba is the Batak. In general the people there livelihood as farmers, traders, and fishermen. Many people admire the lake Toba and natural potential despite the fact thatsaid that the number of tourists has decreased as a result there is less attention and care from those responsible.

Whatever it is Lake Toba is going to be our joint responsibility and obligation to be preserved.
